It Is About Time
Dear Friends
We all have been devastated with the brutal assassination of our Premier Rafik Hariri. It felt so personal to every single one of us to loose a person who was more than a symbol of a bright future but was a true brother and friend and touched our lives in the pre and post civil war era more than anybody in the Lebanese political scene.It is about time for all of us to say what we have all been saying behind closed doors, it is about time to see the salvation of our country. The only way to pay tribute to our great leader is to ACT.
The public reaction that we saw after the assassination was more descriptive than thousand poems. Our country needs us to ACT, we have the power to change and we can.
1-We are organizing a peaceful rally outside the UN headquarters in New York City on Saturday the 26th of March at noon at 46ST and 1st ave
If you have a Lebanese flag and planing to attend the rally please bring it with you.
2- Parallel to this we are starting a petition to the UN to Intensify its pressure on the Syrian regime to accelerate its withdrawal from Lebanon and to accelerate the investigation to find the criminals who assassinated our beloved Premiere Mr. Rafik Hariri please go to http://www.PetitionOnline.com/1559/petition.html to sign it online.
