Back from what they call” parliament” in Syria, we heard him saying that Syria will not stay in Lebanon "one day" longer than Lebanon wishes.
Well Mr. Assad, we want you out today. I think you have some time, we didn’t say now! We said today!
And by the way, to whom are you addressing your speech ?
To the “Syrian representatives!” in “the Syrian Parliament”.
What kind of representation does this institution have?
We all know that you wish you had the ability of transforming our institutions to something similar to yours, but NO!
This will never happen!
You can talk all you want about redeployment! We are not going to settle down till we have you out!
Dear friends, we have a duty not to settle till we are FREE again.
We can do it and we are doing it, so let us continue.
Our actions should stay civil, this is the way we are going to regain our home form the hands of its enemies.

New York, UN rally for free Lebanon March 7th

Over the last few weeks, we have seen an unprecedented reaction and show of unity by the Lebanese people all over the world. This has been a true and spontaneous expression of pure grief and sorrow for the terrible loss of our beloved Mr Rafik Hariri.
We have no intention to stop what we are doing till we see a complete withdrawal of the Syrian army and its despicable associates from our soil, the serious and continuous criminal investigation in the latest series of political assassinations till we find the criminals, the free and fair elections.
Because of earlier efforts by the Lebanese community around the New York area to arrange for a big rally outside the UN headquarter in New York, which took place on Feb 27th with great success. I wanted to join their efforts and change the next rally date that we were asking for on March 26th to March 7th which has been already called for by The World Lebanese Cultural Union (WLCU) and it is going to start at 12 noon at Dag Hammarskjold Plaza, located adjacent to the United Nations on 1st Avenue between 46th and 47th Streets, the participants will then proceed to the Syrian Mission to the UN located at 820 2nd Avenue.
We have all the confidence in the will and persistence of our people to continue their efforts to reach our freedom.

The Quest For Freedom

At last we are free! We are free from our selfish egotistic differences.
At last we gained our souls back, we are free!
Even if the enemy is still there, even if physically we are not free, our soul and mind is!
We have no fear anymore except from our kids asking us in the future why did we compromised and sold our freedom?!
Lebanon, our beautiful country is ours, we love it so much and we were too fool in loving it that we destroyed it and at the same time we paid so dearly to do that.
No more self-destruction in the name of love, we are one country and one nation asking for peace democracy and freedom.
We have the most sincere wishes for all the nations who are struggling for the basic human rights and to gain back their freedom, but we are ready for it we are not going to wait for others to catch up with us. We believe that they also can do it.
We want to know the truth and find the criminals all the criminals!
We want to get the Syrians OUT, and we want to have a free election.
We want to separate the religion from the state and have elections based on modern parties representing different point of views and struggling peacefully to serve our beloved country.
We are uniting in the fight for freedom.
May peace be with you and with our beloved home Lebanon.

It Is About Time

Dear Friends
We all have been devastated with the brutal assassination of our Premier Rafik Hariri. It felt so personal to every single one of us to loose a person who was more than a symbol of a bright future but was a true brother and friend and touched our lives in the pre and post civil war era more than anybody in the Lebanese political scene.It is about time for all of us to say what we have all been saying behind closed doors, it is about time to see the salvation of our country. The only way to pay tribute to our great leader is to ACT.
The public reaction that we saw after the assassination was more descriptive than thousand poems. Our country needs us to ACT, we have the power to change and we can.
